Reply To: Toolbox update

Hello Richa

Thanks for your reply.

In fact, I’m very careful about that. I always close any instances of VS. As you know, the updater display a warning if you are running any instance of the VS.

When, after the components upgrade, I open the VS and any project, the toolbox remain with the old versions (when you left the mouse over the control in the toolbox, a popup remembers the user about the version).
When, after that, I open the window to choose the components in the toolbox, there are 2 versions of the same control available: the old one and the new one. The checked are always the old one.
Till now and for all the C1 controls, I uncheck the old version and check the new version. Then, after confirm the selection of controls, when I return to IDE and go back again to the window to choose the controls, the old versions are disappeared and the new ones are properly checked.

Since I realized that the "version" of the control in the toolbox is not important, and the version used when compiling (and in the licenses.licx) are the newest, that works fine for me.
Please tell me if I’m right about this (last paragraph) or if there are some issues to avoid.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Artur Gomes
