data library server event log

Hi

I have built one 3 tier application with dataobjects and tried to write some code to trace server error log . It will be OK for me to trace sql status and error object in the dataset.afterupdaterow event … I also would like to get client information while server error occurred …
As to this issue，I need your kindly suggestion ( sample code will be better )
