Thank you very much for looking into this issue and for the modified sample. I tested the sample, but the problem still exists on my end.

Sorry, when I created my sample, I made a small copy and paste mistake: In our applications we use SetDataBinding(mItems, "", True) to preserve the layout. But the FilterText gets cleared anyway though.

The version of the grid that works for us is 4.0.2013.61342. I compiled the sample with both versions and attached them to this post. In version 61342 the FilterText stays, in version 61347 it gets cleared. I hope they help to narrow the problem down.
