Hello!

Similar problem on another customer computer, problem to print to sharing printer:

Exception details:

On Shelf Change Events Handling

Hello,

I am just testing Active Analysis together with some other OLAP component to decide, which one to use in our analytic application.

Since our data do have a complex structure including some probabilities and weights, they are not directly additive and I must recalculate them in the specific manner after removing/adding fields from the column and row shelves. An there I have not been able to find how to hook to some PivotView (or Layout?) event invoked by the drop in or drop out of the particular field from the particular shelf.

It could be probably solved by the custom aggregate function, too. But I’m not sure, if it is possible to define it.

C1DataTable Reject changes

Hi,

Is it possible to reject changes on a C1.Silverlight.Data.Datatable?

I’m implementing undo functionality and I would like to have the possibility to reject a single change on the datatable (as defined by row and column index).
Do you have any suggestions?

It seems that it is only possible to call DataTable.AcceptChanges()

C1.Silverlight.Data doesn’t implement caching changes. It only keeps track of what rows have been changed, so that you can save changes back. If you need to reject changes, you can re-read data from the data source or keep the copy of unchanged data somewhere on the client side.

I’m currently keeping track of every edit within the viewmodel, so I can revert all the cellvalues to the previous values. However the RowState is still flagged as DataRowState.Modified. Is there a way to reset that state? It has a private setter.

Hello Len,

To get fixed row data, you may capture the MouseDown event of C1OlapPage.OlapGrid and using the following code, store the value in a variable. 

string clickeddata = string.Empty;

Then in the contextmenuclick event you can use this variable to copy to the clipboard :

DataTable.AcceptChanges resets all row states to DataRowState.Unchanged and removes deleted rows forever. So, perhaps you can use AcceptChanges first and then re-read data. Or you can revert some field value and call DataRow.AcceptChanges for this row.

Hi,

The version of the C1FlexGrid, the one of the software I installed, is 4.6.20131.765. Would upgrading to the version you mentioned make a difference? If yes, is there an easy way to do it? I overwrote the existing files with the ones provided and also manually changed the version number in a licences.licx file but it doesn\’t build. The solution has a few projects using the grid, so the manual update might not be the best.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can temporarily use the acceptchanges on the DataRow, but this wouldn’t work if there were multiple edits on a single row.

I’ve implemented my undo functionality and it seems to work. But I’m currently experiencing a strange bug.

I have a C1FlexGrid in the view, which is bound to the DataTable.DefaultView. The binding works correctly.

When i use my undo functionality it seems that some cell values revert immediately to their original state, but some don’t. When I scroll a few lines down and back up again, so that those cells disappear out of the view and back again, only then are they showing their original values.
This behaviour is very strange, do you have any idea what might be causing this bug?

I can only assume that it’s something related to the cell editing state and/or to the sorting or filtering. Can’t tell more. Please, try to do simple sample, reproducing the problem, zip it and attach here.

DataGrid refresh data problem

Hi,

I have a problem when a group something on a Grid and then a sort another column. I’m using a lot of data on my datagrid and it refreshs my items that were expanded before, collapsing it.
I tried to save the visibility of the rows like this example does:

But it stocks the row position in the grid, so if we sort the column another time, it expands the position saved and not the row that I’ve had expanded before.

I’d like to know if there’s is another way to know what line was expanded before the refresh when I group and sort the columns.

I have a pagereport with some formattedText areas that I need to export to a pdf document.

The report displays and prints correctly in the report viewer, but some of the formatting is lost when exported to pdf.

Version conflict between c1Theme and c1Input

Hello,

I just ran the Live Update and ran the project updater on all my projects. Now when I attempt to open my application (VS2010) I get the attached error message. (see pic)

I’m not 100% clear on what it’s telling me but if I’m reading it correctly, it’s stating that the c1Input component that downloaded with the c1Theme component isn’t compatible with one another.

Since I’m using the most current (released) build of both I’m a little confused.

The message is implying that there is a more current build of the c1Input control. Is there a way to get a more current build of the c1Input control that will work with the most current build of the c1Theme component?

Ok, still one more issue. I tried new versions of the C1 components but I now get prompts suggesting me to use newer version of C1Input or older version of C1Themes. Problem is, there is no 2014T1 version of C1Input available @prerelease.componentone.com
